Arizona Claimants Receive LWA Retroactive Backpay

Arizona was the first state to be approved and implement the LWA program, and claimants received an extra $300 with their latest payment for last week.

Today, the UnemploymentPUA.com hotline received many emails from Arizona from claimants who were happy to receive retroactive backpay beginning the week ending in August 1st, which is when the $600 FPUC expired.

According to the reports, claimants received another $600 for the 2 prior weeks, in addition to the $300 from the latest week, making it a total of $900 extra.
