  • You will get paid through a debit card, unless you establish direct deposit.
  • Debit card will be mailed to you a few days after claim is approved.
  • UI benefit payments take three business days for direct deposit and to be put onto the UI Key Bank debit card. You will need to wait one business day to see the payment in your online claim status.
  • You may receive a check by mail for the first payment if you set up direct deposit. Please allow up to seven (7) business days for a mailed check.
  • If you are eligible to receive a benefit payment from a state or federal UI Program for a week claimed the $600 stimulus payment will be added to the week claimed through July 26, 2020. Alaska began paying the additional $600 stimulus payment to eligible claimants on April 13, 2020. These payments are retroactive beginning the week ending April 4, 2020.
